Should I lease a Porsche Taycan?
If you're dreaming about leasing a Porsche Taycan, you can find out more in our frequently asked questions. We also have a huge range of guides to help you through the leasing process, but the motorlet team can lend a hand if you need some extra help.More Porsche dealers will only be able to give you a quotation through Porsche Finance (VWFS), whereas we work with several lease companies (Porsche Finance being one of them). As prices change all of the time, it's likely there will be a lease company cheaper than Porsche Finance.
We also work with multiple Porsche dealers, meaning we can use the one who is giving away the best away discounts. If you live in London but a dealer in Glasgow are running a special offer, we can get that offer for you and delivery the car free of charge.
There are a number of benefits to leasing your Porsche Taycan through your business.
PRO: You can claim back 50% of the VAT and the cost of the lease is deduced from your gross profit, thus reducing your overall corporation tax.
CON: If you use the car personally, you will need to pay company car tax, aka, benefit in kind. However, because the Porsche Taycan is fully electric, the benefit in kind (BIK) is just 1% in 2021/22 and only 2% in years 2022/23 and 2023/24, so leasing it through your business is the most cost effective way.

The FIRST all-electric Porsche...and already
the most leased one!
Are Porsche tapping into a whole new target market with their first all-electric car, as it outsells all of their other models? Find out how you can join the trend with a Motorlet Porsche Taycan lease.
When you think of a Porsche, you might imagine the driver to be somebody who values the long-established allure of the luxury brand and has a taste for the finer things. With the arrival of Porsche’s first all-electric model, the Porsche Taycan, you can add ‘environmentally conscious’ to that list of personal attributes.
The spaceship-esque Porsche Taycan is available for lease with incredible deals from UK leasing experts Motorlet, starting at £754.59 including VAT per month. If the deal in itself isn’t impressive enough, imagine doing 0-62mph in less than three seconds whilst grinning in the face of anyone who dares to tell you that your luxury car obsession is ruining the planet. With the Taycan, you can enjoy a spectacular car and preach about morals – what more could you want?
Owning an electric car does come with responsibility. You will need to be charging the Taycan regularly, but Porsche claims you can go from 5 to 80 percent in around 22 minutes. No worries – whilst your new lease car is charging you can admire its curved cockpit, which almost appears a little bit sensual. Aside from the cockpit, the rest of the car is just as visually pleasing. With its LED-strip style rear light wrapping around the entire back-end, the Taycan does a great job of appearing to be from 20-years in the future. Should the car begin to hover, it wouldn’t be surprising.
The Taycan presents itself in a variety of models. There’s the original – a modest (can you describe the first electric Porsche as modest?) rear-wheel drive that is followed by the Taycan 4S, boasting a touch more power as an all-wheel drive. Then you get the Taycan Turbo and Turbo S, both showing off even more power and a 93kWHh battery that rivals the 79kWh of the original and the 4S. If you did prefer the original Taycan or the 4S to that of its more powerful siblings, you can add the heftier battery to those models, at a cost.
When it comes to driving (which is arguably one of the most important features of a car) the experience of an electric vehicle, like the Taycan, is a quiet one. You can cruise around to the elusive hum of you electric Porsche with pride, or pop on the optional ‘Porsche Electric Sound Sport’ for some ambience. Although it’s maybe on the heavier side, the Taycan is deceptive in its handling. It doesn’t feel at all like you’re zooming around in a giant remote-control car, but as if you’re zooming around in a much lighter, fancier remote control car. It’s just an easy ride – steering that you can feel in charge of and a smooth drive that can receive all of your focus thanks to the automatic gearbox.
If you need any more evidence as to why you absolutely need to plonk yourself in the driver’s seat of Porsche’s first electric car, it has been reported that the Taycan is already Porsche’s bestselling model in Europe – knocking even the Panamera& 911out of the water.
There’s so much more to be said about the Taycan and its growing popularity in the auto-world, but we think the verdict is best left down to you. If you’d like to know more about the best UK car leasing deals on a Porsche Taycan, get in touch.
